By joining Mellfolk, you confirm that you are at least 16 and agree to these Terms, the Community Rules, Privacy Notice and safety processes. Mellfolk has no tolerance for illegal content, objectionable material or abusive users.

Your account

You are responsible for activity carried out through your signed-in account and for keeping access to it secure. Some higher-risk features, including starting a public live broadcast, are limited to members aged 18 or over.

Your content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you post. You give Mellfolk a non-exclusive permission to store, process and display it only as needed to operate and protect the service. You must own or have permission to share everything you upload. Copyright reports may lead to removal while a claim is reviewed.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, automate spam, interfere with security or use Mellfolk for illegal activity.

Illegal and harmful content

Do not post, request, promote or facilitate terrorism, child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, credible threats, hate crime, harassment, fraud, scams, unlawful sales, intimate-image abuse, encouragement of suicide or serious self-harm, or other criminal activity. Do not help another person evade Mellfolk’s safety systems.

Marketplace

Members deal directly with one another. Mellfolk is not a party to a sale and does not guarantee an item, seller, buyer, payment or collection.

Moderation, complaints and appeals

Automated checks may stop material that appears unsafe or spam-like, but significant enforcement decisions can be reviewed by an administrator. We may remove content, restrict activity or suspend accounts to protect members or comply with law. You can report content or complain about Mellfolk’s handling of illegal-content concerns through the Safety Centre, and challenge an eligible moderation decision through the appeals process. We consider context, severity, risk, repetition and proportionality. Features may change and continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

Ending your account

You can export or delete your account from Profile settings. Account deletion is permanent.
