Report anything illegal, unsafe, abusive or suspicious. Reports are reviewed by the Mellfolk administrator and urgent risks are prioritised.

What you can report
You can report individual posts, profiles, messages, Marketplace listings or other activity, including suspected terrorism, child sexual exploitation or grooming, threats, hate crime, harassment, fraud, scams, intimate-image abuse, encouragement of suicide or serious self-harm, illegal goods and copyright infringement. Include a link, account name or other reference where possible.
What happens next
We assess the report, preserve relevant safety information where appropriate and may remove content, restrict features or suspend an account. Reports concerning imminent danger, child sexual exploitation or credible threats are treated as urgent and may be referred to the appropriate authorities.
Target response times
We aim to review urgent safety reports within 24 hours and other reports within 72 hours. Complex legal or copyright questions may take longer. These are operational targets rather than guaranteed resolution times.
Appeals and complaints
To challenge a content removal, account restriction or report outcome, use the secure appeals form. To complain that Mellfolk failed to act on illegal content, removed content incorrectly or did not apply its Terms consistently, email support@mellfolk.co.uk with the relevant reference. A fresh review will be carried out where practical and the result recorded.
Young people
Mellfolk is for people aged 16 and over. Accounts believed to belong to somebody under 16 should be reported. Members aged 16 or 17 start with friends-only post and message settings, and public live broadcasting is limited to adults aged 18 or over. Child-safety concerns are prioritised.
Immediate danger
Do not wait for an online report. Contact 999 in the UK or the appropriate emergency service in your location.
