Copyright and Takedown Policy

Mellfolk members may only upload material they own or have permission to use. We review credible copyright complaints and may remove or restrict disputed content while a claim is assessed.

Send a copyright report

Use the Safety Centre report form and choose “Copyright infringement”, or email support@mellfolk.co.uk.

Include this information

Identify the protected work, provide the exact Mellfolk location of the material, explain why the use is unauthorised, include your contact details and state that the information supplied is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

Response and repeat infringement

We may ask for more information, notify the member who posted the material and remove or restrict access where appropriate. Repeated or serious infringement can result in account suspension.

Challenge a removal

If your material was removed in error or you have permission to use it, email support with evidence of ownership, licence, permission or another legal basis. Mellfolk will review the available information before deciding whether to restore it.
