Be respectful

Do not harass, threaten, bully or target another member. Hate speech and abusive content are not allowed.

Be genuine

Do not impersonate others, spread scams, repeatedly post spam or deliberately mislead people.

Keep people safe

Do not share or facilitate terrorism, child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, credible threats, hate crime, fraud, intimate-image abuse, encouragement of suicide or serious self-harm, or other illegal, sexually exploitative, violent or dangerous content. Never share another person’s private information without permission.

Respect intellectual property

Only upload material you created or have permission to use. Do not copy photographs, videos, music, branding or other protected work without authorisation.

Use Marketplace responsibly

Describe items honestly, agree payment and collection safely, and never list prohibited or unlawful goods. Mellfolk does not process or guarantee transactions.

Report concerns

Use Report on content or visit the Safety Centre. Block a member when you do not want contact. You can also email support@mellfolk.co.uk. Serious or immediate danger should be reported to the police or appropriate emergency service.

Enforcement

Content may be removed and accounts may be restricted or suspended when these rules are broken. Repeated or serious violations can lead to permanent removal. We consider context, severity, risk, repetition and proportionality. Eligible decisions can be challenged through the appeals process.
